Overview
Location: Laverton. Job Type: Permanent – Full Time. Work arrangement: FIFO on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth).
Regis Resources is an ASX 100-listed Australian gold producer with a portfolio that includes open pit and underground mines in Western Australia, along with development opportunities. This role sits within the Processing team at the Duketon operation and supports site-based training programs and assessments for Process Operations personnel.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with the Site Training Department to deliver training for the Processing Department.
* Assist in developing training pathways for new Process Technicians to progress to Shift Supervisor.
* Develop, review and maintain SWIs, Process training documentation and Process procedures.
* Coordinate the Maintenance of the Processing Training Needs Analysis in line with site and company requirements as outlined by the Training department.
* Ensure the processing facility operates in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Lead the development and implementation of the Crew Trainer program.
* Provide coaching to crew trainers in delivering operational training.
* Source suitable external courses in support of Processing operations and capability development.
* Assist in designing, developing and delivering internal training packages to meet business needs.
* Coordinate on-site and off-site training.
* Conduct training courses and assessments, including orientation workshops, VOCs, safety awareness programs and inductions.
* Support the Training Department with ad hoc delivery of programs for processing and non-processing personnel.
* Facilitate and support all online training requirements.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Gold Processing experience (crushing, milling, gravity recovery, CIL, tailings placement) and mining operational experience.
* Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with training systems such as INX Intuition.
* Strong understanding of training and assessment practices and related legislation.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
