Your new role
As the Centre Director at our early learning centre in Collingwood, you will oversee a dedicated team to deliver quality early learning and care that supports children in the wider community. This full‐time, ongoing opportunity will provide the right leader with the space to thrive in a program with strong ties to the community.
With its expansive outdoor area featuring natural landscaping and vegetable gardens, Rupert Street Child Care & Kindergarten is an oasis of fun and laughter. Caring for and educating children of the community since 1959, the centre is conveniently located in the inner‐city suburb of Collingwood.
You'll coach and mentor your team to empower children's learning and create space for reflective practice. You'll collaborate with families and community partners, maintain quality and safety, and lead initiatives that make the centre a place where all children thrive.
Responsibilities
* Develop an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child.
* Drive enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs.
* Create a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate.

Your skills and experience
You're a proven people leader with a track record of building high‐performing, values‐aligned teams. You bring strong early childhood expertise and the drive to inspire teams and families.
* A minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
* First aid training as prescribed in the Education & Care Services National Regulations.
* A demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and education.
* A demonstrated knowledge of early learning frameworks and quality standards.
* The proven ability to build strong family and community partnerships.
