Drawing on your extensive education administration experience, you will manage complex processes, support academic stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across education services.This position requires on-site attendance for a minimum of four days per week. Hybrid working arrangements may be discussed with the hiring manager.Your key responsibilities will be to:lead, plan and manage the work of the School Education Support Team, providing effective supervision, coaching, feedback and performance management to build a high-performing and engaged teamcoordinate and deliver operational support for teaching activities, including the management of assessments and examinations in line with faculty and university requirementsoversee complex timetabling and scheduling activities, including logistical coordination and clear communication with students, academic staff and key stakeholdersprovide high-level administrative and operational support to Manager, Education Support, and Academic Leaders in Education, building strong and collaborative relationships with academics and professional staffmanage staff performance and development, ensuring annual performance and development reviews are completed and appropriate professional development opportunities are supportedcontribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance education services and course deliverysupport the effective implementation of faculty and university policies, procedures and compliance requirementsproactively identify operational challenges and implement practical, service-focused solutionsAbout youdemonstrated experience supervising, mentoring and managing staff, including performance management and staff developmentexperience delivering high-quality education support services within a complex organisation, ideally in a tertiary or health environmentstrong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressureexperience working with Learning Management Systems and an understanding of timetabling and scheduling student activitiesadvanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and service deliveryexperience troubleshooting AV and IT issues, with proficiency in Zoom and Microsoft Teamsexcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a strong client service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersthe ability to work independently and collaboratively while exercising initiative, sound judgement and operational agilitydemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and service excellenceknowledge of university administrative processes, policies and procedures within a tertiary education environmentthe ability and willingness to move across campus regularly to provide hands-on support for teaching activities and stakeholder needsSponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
