Facilities Manager – Role Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management and maintenance of the school's facilities and grounds, leading Grounds and Maintenance teams and external contractors, and supporting the school's activities with safe and efficient logistics.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic and operational management and maintenance of facilities and grounds.
* Lead and manage Grounds and Maintenance teams and external contractors.
* Provide logistics and associated services to support school activities.
* Advise on planning, development, and management of infrastructure improvements and building projects.
* Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary, building, or trade qualifications in a related field.
* Significant knowledge and experience in facilities management.
* Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
* Strong problem‐solving and project management skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in leading and managing teams.
* Experience in a school setting.
* Working at heights certificate.
* A medium or heavy rigid vehicle licence.
Essential Requirements
* Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
* Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
* Current, unrestricted WA driver's licence.
* Supportive of the school's Anglican identity.
* Availability for occasional additional work outside normal hours.
