Remuneration: $36.32 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts
About the role
As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will spend your time on the road completing scheduled visits, and interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes supporting them with daily activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide in‐home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
* Deliver care in accordance with individualised Care Plans.
* Support community‐based recreational and social activities.
* Assist with transportation, shopping and appointments.
Qualifications
* Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
* Roadworthy and insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work.
* Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.).
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
