CASUAL DRIVING ROLE
Heidelberg Materials Australia are seeking a HR truck driver to join our team, driving a concrete agitator truck in Yarrawonga, VIC, approximately 1 hour west of Albury. This is a casual role, with shifts ranging from Monday to Friday, including overtime and rostered Saturday work as required. The ideal candidate is passionate about safety, results-focused, reliable, and possesses a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
* Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment
* Slump and deliver concrete to our customers
* Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck
Qualifications
* Hold an HR, HC, or MC driver's licence (Agitator truck driving experience preferred but not essential)
* Hold a current White Card or have ability to obtain upon successful completion
* Demonstrate a professional work ethic with a customer-service oriented attitude
* Have mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems
* Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures
* Familiar with the Chain of Responsibility
Compensation
$37.40 per hour for all ordinary hours, including casual loading. Overtime is paid at 11⁄2 and double time based off a standard rate of $29.92. Rostered Saturday work (when required) is paid at a half-day rate, finishing around lunch time. The position also includes a 10-day agitator driver training program and ongoing career development opportunities.
