Are you an organised and proactive Storeperson who takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly and safely? We're seeking an experienced professional to join a team in Karratha in a full-time, permanent role. In this position, you'll play a vital role in day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order processing, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Receiving, unpacking, and organising incoming goods to maintain efficient inventory flow
* Operating warehouse management systems to allocate and complete customer orders
* Preparing and managing documentation, including ROSA's, Dangerous Goods paperwork, sales orders, delivery dockets, and consignment notes.
* Picking orders, putting away incoming stocks, despatching goods, tint paint, loading and unloading vehicles
* Communicating with suppliers
* Maintaining accurate stock control and reporting any discrepancies or shortages
* Assisting the TC Manager with reporting and general data entry as required
* Protecting stock from loss or damage
* Supporting customers with enquiries, retail sales, and resolving quality issues (as required)
* Participating in audits, inspections, and safety meetings
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times
* Operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
About You
* Previous experience in a warehouse/storeperson role
* A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
* A customer-focused mindset
* Proficiency in SAP is desirable along with time management skills
* High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
* Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
* A valid Forklift Licence (essential)
* Chain of Responsibility certification (desirable)
* Competency in receiving and dispatch processes
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Requirements
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident residing in Karratha
* Willingness to undergo a medical assessment and police check
