Forklift Operator - 6am-2pm M-F (Oxley, QLD)
About the role
The Forklift Operator role is a Full‐Time position, based at our PGH Bricks site in Oxley, QLD. Reporting to the Manager you will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
* Actively support and promote a safety‐first culture. We aim for a zero‐harm workplace where everyone looks out for each other – Never Walk Past principle.
* Operate a forklift in the brick factory.
* Support and usage of the WHSE system, workplace assessments, yard delivery performance, and Quality Control of the product leaving the yard through performance measurements.
* Be responsible for safe & productive operation of machinery, accurate & timely loading of company and customer trucks.
* Housekeeping around the yard.
Qualifications
* A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing.

* Attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety, quality, and process accuracy.
* Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high‐volume, multiple‐stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
* Forklift licence essential.
* Strong understanding of production operations.
