McArthur is currently seeking an exceptional practitioner as a Specialist Support Coordinator who can join the McArthur Support Coordination team and provide essential services and support to people living with disabilities.
McArthur is one of the most recognised and respected names in the industry for 50 years, Australia wide. The disability division was established in 2015 from a deep desire to provide trusted, tailored, and ongoing services to people who live with a disability. The Support Coordination team combined have over 70 years of industry experience with all team members sharing the strong values and commitment the sector requires.
The successful candidate will work closely, yet autonomously, with the team and clients to deliver a high level of Specialist Support Coordination with participants and stakeholders in the community.
As a Specialist Support Coordinator, you will assist strengthening a participant's ability to design and build their supports with an emphasis on linking the broader systems of support across a complex service delivery environment. It is essential that Support Coordinators focus on assisting participants to direct their lives, not just their services whilst navigating and understanding their NDIS plans. Coordination of Supports also includes coaching and working with participants to develop capacity and resilience in their network.

What We're Looking For:
* Relevant Industry experience, with high regard for qualifications of Social Work or Developmental Education
* Current DHS Disability/NDIS Clearance
* Current Working with Children Check
* Clear communication and listening skills
* A person-centred proactive approach
* Must have proven problem-solving skills.
