Opportunity Overview
We are looking for experienced and driven chefs to join our team at ChinChin Sydney. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of your allocated section and for training and coaching cooks to maintain quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the overall operation of your allocated section runs smoothly and effectively.
* Train and coach cooks, ensuring quality and consistency of products.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in an à‐la‐carte setting.
* Wok and grill experience advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine highly regarded.
* Experience in a high‐volume, fast‐paced restaurant environment.
* Resilience and ability to perform during high‐pressure service periods.
* Strong work ethic and a "can‐do" attitude.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Understanding of food safety standards.
* Willing and able to work a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
