About the RoleAt BOQ Group, our Wholesale Banking division continues to grow, and as a result we're introducing a brand-new Senior Associate role into our Sydney-based team. This is an opportunity to join a small, high-performing group that supports the delivery of complex corporate lending transactions across institutional and large corporate clients. While BOQ does not originate syndicated lending transactions, the team actively participates in these structures, contributing to credit assessment, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio management.Working closely with an Associate Director or Director, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end execution of transactions, including the preparation of credit submissions for new and existing clients, management of periodic reviews, and coordination of documentation and settlement processes with both internal stakeholders and external advisors. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes within a structured risk and compliance environment. You will operate at the centre of deal activity, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining strong governance and service standards.About YouYou are an experienced banking professional with a background in commercial or corporate banking, ideally gained within institutional or large corporate segments. You bring a solid understanding of complex lending structures and have experience working on large value transactions, with exposure to syndicated or club-style facilities highly regarded.You are known for your strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality written work in a fast-paced environment. You build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including credit, legal, and market participants, and are comfortable operating within a collaborative, performance-driven team.
