Opportunity
We are seeking multiple Plant Operators to join our Civil team based at the Childers Depot. These hands‐on roles are part of a multi-disciplined crew responsible for delivering road, drainage, and civil maintenance works that directly support our local community.
As a multi‐skilled operator, you will operate heavy rigid vehicles and a variety of mobile plant, contribute to construction and maintenance activities, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. These roles also support emergency response activities and may involve after‐hours work when required.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in roads and drainage construction and maintenance
* A current HC (Heavy Combination) driver licence with proven experience operating heavy rigid vehicles
* Possession of a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction Card
* Demonstrated sound level ability to work within a team environment to ensure that outcomes are achieved
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with a variety of internal and external parties
* Flexibility to participate in after‐hours and emergency works as required
