We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scientist to join our team at the Environmental Laboratory where you will lead, mentor and supervise a skilled and dedicated team in critical water quality testing while advancing your career in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a skilled and dedicated team in critical water quality testing
* Oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Advise on technical matters related to environmental chemical analysis
* Communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders
* Champion quality assurance, safety and process improvement
* Be adaptive to changing priorities and technologies
What You'll Need:
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills, have technical expertise in environmental chemical analysis, be highly organised and detail-oriented, communicate effectively across teams and with stakeholders, have a strong understanding of and experience with accreditation requirements, champion quality assurance, safety and process improvement, and be adaptive to changing priorities and technologies.
