* Base salary range: $39.98 - $44.46 p.h. (AO3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Clinical Information Administration Services team at Townsville University Hospital as an Administration Officer within Specialty Wards. In this fast‐paced and rewarding role, you will contribute to delivering high‐quality, person‐centred care by supporting patients, families and clinical teams through effective administrative services.
As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in coordinating day‐to‐day administrative operations across Specialty Wards Administration and the broader service. You will engage with a range of stakeholders, ensuring the accurate management of patient information while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, with responsibilities including providing a welcoming front‐line service, managing enquiries, maintaining patient records in hospital information systems, and supporting clinical staff in a busy hospital environment.
The position operates across a 24/7 roster, including afternoon shifts, weekends and public holidays, ensuring continuous support to meet patient care needs.
