Holds a Diploma level qualification
Responsibilities
Conferring with clients to determine their hairdressing needs, preferences, and specifications
Advising clients on suitable haircuts, hairstyles, and hair colour based on their features and hair type
Cutting, trimming, and shaping clients hair, wigs, hair extensions, and related treatments based on clients’ preferences and specifications
Shampooing, cutting, styling, and colouring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps
Providing various hair colouring treatments after inquiring into possible dye sensitivities and allergies
Using hairstyling tools and equipment to style clients’ hair
Cleaning and sterilising all hairdressing tools to meet health and safety standards
Operating the cash register to process client payments when necessary
