As part of this role you will provide a personalised experience to understand our members current and desired situations, assess loan applications and adhere to strict compliance obligations. Each loan is assessed inline with the RAC Finance Credit Policy, ensuring responsible lending decisions, efficient timeframes and delegated approval authority levels.What will you be doing?Conducting member discussions (inbound/outbound calling) to understand financial information provided on loan applications to support pre-approval or decline decisionsProactively keep members informed of loan progress, outcomes and complete follow up calls to progress loan applications to settlementAnalysing all data and complete necessary credit assessment checks, to ensure an acceptable level of risk, complying with all legislative requirements including the National Credit CodeAchieve credit assessment targets in accordance with credit policy and procedureAnalysing and verifying supporting loan documentationPreparation of loan documentationWhat will you bring to the role?Previous loan assessment experience is required (banking or finance industry experience preferred)Experience in a customer service roleStrong communication skillsSound understanding of the national credit code, responsible lending obligations and Privacy ActWhat we offer youBetter Journeys Begin at RAC.
