Airport Operations Leader
Role Overview:
* Lead airport operations across multiple locations, prioritizing safety and service excellence.
You will be a key contributor to our airports team, driving safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. This role involves providing strategic support to achieve operational objectives, including safety, punctuality, and service quality.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with external suppliers, including ground services and ramp personnel, to ensure seamless airport operations.
* Manage critical operational assets such as Ground Support Equipment (GSE), IT systems, uniforms, and communications.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement business improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to strategic projects, such as launching new routes and introducing new aircraft types.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in airport operations, with a strong understanding of above and below wing processes, including ramp operations, baggage handling, and turnaround coordination.
* Demonstrated ability to manage third-party suppliers, negotiate contracts, and build relationships to influence outcomes and achieve operational excellence.
* Proven leadership capability to inspire and guide teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret safety data, monitor On-Time Performance metrics, and implement improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
* Resilience and adaptability to navigate complexity in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to travel to various ports as required.
