About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people experiencing complex mental health challenges? Join our dedicated team at Canberra Health Services (CHS) and help shape recovery-focused care for young people across the ACT.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Cottage Program is a unique, therapeutic group program that supports up to 12 young people aged 12–18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties that have impacted their ability to attend school. With a strong recovery focus, the program provides structured group and individual interventions to reduce mental health symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and enhance engagement in education and vocational pathways.

As a key member of this small and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will:

* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support recovery-focused care planning.
* Work collaboratively with families, schools, and community services to promote continuity of care and successful re-engagement with education or training.
* Contribute to the development of young people's social, emotional, and independent living skills, building confidence and resilience for future transitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and compassionate service within the Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol & Drug Services Division, where your contribution will directly impact the wellbeing and future outcomes of young people and their families.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

* Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
* Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
* Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
