Cater Care is a large food service business servicing more than 200 sites nationally, servicing key sectors including Retail, Education, Aged Care, Health, Defence, and Mining. Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity within our Procurement team.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team in Kew, Melbourne.

This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in procurement, supply chain, administration, or business operations. Full training will be provided.

You will support day‐to‐day procurement operations across national sites while working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with our operating sites and suppliers to ensure efficient operational outcomes from suppliers in regard to supplier delivery times, product quality, product specification & business requirements
* Data entry and maintenance of catalogued items in ordering system
* Key point of contact for our internal customers for operational issues
* Liaising with internal finance team in regard to customer billing & invoicing enquiries
* Basic analytical support where needed to the Procurement team
* Liaising with freight forwarders for on‐transport of food & related consumables to our customer sites
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong communication, customer service, and relationship management skills
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment with changing priorities
* Strong initiative, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
* High‐level organisational skills with the ability to work independently
* Data entry and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) or Google Sheets
* Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to processes

This role is ideal for a recent university graduate (Business, Procurement, Logistics, or related field) looking to begin a career in procurement and supply chain.
