Architectural Draftsperson Job Opportunity
An established architecture practice based in Kent Town is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional who is confident working across multiple project stages and producing high-quality architectural documentation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications across DA / Planning, Design Development, Tender, and Construction stages.
* Prepare accurate construction details aligned with NCC / BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
* Coordinate with engineers, services consultants, certifiers, and local councils, including addressing RFIs.
* Maintain BIM / Revit models, uphold drawing standards, and manage document control and revisions.
* Assist with materials selection, FF&E schedules, compliance checks, and respond to site-based queries.
* Contribute to quality assurance, OH&S requirements, and internal practice standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
* A Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field.
* 2-5+ years of architectural documentation experience (Australian experience highly regarded).
* Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD or ArchiCAD also considered).
* Excellent construction detailing skills and high documentation accuracy.
* Solid understanding of NCC / BCA, relevant Australian Standards, and council processes.
* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines.
