An exciting chance to take ownership of a broad accounting function, working closely with our firm's entire financial framework.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Total autonomy over the accounting function, encompassing accounts payable, general ledger, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reporting, financial and management reporting, payroll, trust accounting, cash flows, variance analysis, superannuation reporting and payments, workers compensation renewals and compliance, BAS and GST.
* General legal and corporate governance compliance will also be essential.
Requirements for Success
* Degree-qualified in accounting or a similar field, preferably holding full CA/CPA certification or currently studying.
* A minimum of 3 years (or more) of hands-on accounting experience is required.
* A solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, tax legislation and payroll accounting is vital.
* Experience in trust accounts is essential.
* High accuracy, attention to detail and time prioritization skills are necessary.
* The ability to thrive in a high-volume, busy multi-tasking environment is crucial.
