About The Role
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Centurion underground mine located 160 km west of Mackay. The role reports to the CHPP Manager and focuses on ensuring efficient operations of all plant and optimum product recovery to meet targets.
Duties
* Provide technical support and advice to ensure a successful ramp‐up and ongoing operation of the processing plant.
* Work closely with the operational team to provide ongoing coaching to drive plant efficiency.
* Oversee the onsite lab, ensuring lab technicians and personnel support ramp‐up activities and maintain safe practices.
* Contribute to the identification, development and delivery of process improvements and opportunities within the CHPP.
* Monitor and report on the process plant performance.
* Provide support for accurate budgets.
* Evaluate operational risks and opportunities and ensure implementation of mitigation strategies.

This position is offered on a 9‐day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should have extensive operational experience, be technically minded, and have a passion for emerging technologies.
* Engineering degree ideally in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical or related discipline.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in mineral comminution, beneficiation and solid/liquid separation technologies.
* CHPP operational and technical experience.
* Ability to demonstrate a reasonable competence and understanding of production and maintenance management, control systems engineering, and uncompromising commitment to safety.
* General commitment to safety and sound risk & hazard identification.
* Exceptional team member with flexible attitude and sound work ethic.
