You will oversee the integrity of our general ledger and balance sheet, manage statutory accounting, lease accounting and drive process improvements for our Australian and New Zealand operations. This pivotal role also involves overseeing the recording and reporting of fixed asset and finished goods stock ledgers and the management of the Concur expense system. Additionally, the Financial Accounting Manager will spearhead financial systems projects and lead a team, including the Financial Accountant and Finance Analyst, as part of our broader financial services team at Pernod Ricard.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEnsure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.Oversee statutory reporting, including preparation and audit of financial statements for Australia and New Zealand.Manage the IFRS 16 leasing database and associated accounting impactsSupervise the recording and reporting of fixed asset registers and reporting of finished goods stockLead and develop the Financial Accountant and Finance Analyst, ensuring team performance and growth.What you will bring to the roleTertiary qualifications in an accounting or finance disciplineCurrent member of an internationally recognised accounting bodyIntermediate to advanced Excel skills & proven accounting experienceExperience with JD Edwards and Power BIAn analytical mindset, with a strong attention to detailGood technical knowledge of Australian, New Zealand and international accountingConviviality: the Pernod Ricard WayWorking at Pernod Ricard is all about igniting conviviality in all that we do.
