Leisure & Entertainment Officer
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team in delivering leisure activities that foster engagement and participation among residents.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing recreational programs that stimulate and entertain our residents. They will build strong relationships with residents, staff, and community partners through encouragement, activity engagement, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver leisure activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities of residents.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and community partners.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Ensure accurate records and reports are maintained as required.
Requirements
* Current First Aid certificate is essential.
* Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Lifestyle would be highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
* A creative mindset and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role.
* Previous experience working with older adults would be advantageous.
