This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional to step into a role where ownership, initiative, and outcomes matter.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially minded Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with designers, architects, and trade clients.

This is not a showroom role.

Success in this position comes from proactively building a pipeline, generating opportunities, and converting them into revenue, not waiting for walk-in traffic or inbound enquiries.

You will take ownership of your portfolio, working closely with the Sales Manager and Client Relations Director to drive consistent sales performance, repeat business, and long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

* Building and managing a strong, active sales pipeline

* Proactively generating new trade relationships and project opportunities

* Managing existing accounts with a focus on repeat business and growth

* Engaging with clients early in the project lifecycle to influence outcomes

* Preparing quotes, following through, and driving deals to close

* Maintaining consistent follow-up and communication across all opportunities

* Monitoring your own performance, conversion rates, and activity levels

* Contributing to overall team revenue targets and business growth

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in furniture, interiors, or a related design-led industry

* Strong commercial mindset, understanding that sales is about outcomes, not just relationships

* Proven ability to generate and convert opportunities, not just manage them

* Confidence working in a B2B environment with industry professionals

* High level of personal accountability and ownership of results

* Strong organisation and follow-through

* Comfortable working with targets, KPIs, and performance expectations

* Is hungry to drive sales results, not just maintain accounts

* Enjoys building relationships but understands they must convert into revenue

* Is proactive, disciplined, and consistent in their approach

* Wants to take ownership of their numbers and performance

* Is already established in a trade-focused, B2B sales environment and understands how to convert relationships into revenue

This Role Is Not For

* Candidates who rely on walk-in traffic or inbound enquiries

* Salespeople who prefer a passive or reactive approach

* Relationship-focused operators without a strong commercial edge

* Anyone uncomfortable being measured on activity, pipeline, and results
