The opportunity
Singh Fabrications Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Draftsman/Detailer to join our team in Rocklea, Queensland. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drafting professional to contribute to the design and development of Fencing/balustrade projects.
Key responsibilities
* Measure on site and prepare detailed engineering drawings and schematics using CAD software
* Interpret engineering specifications and designs to create accurate technical documentation
* Collaborate with production manager and assist with more information in drawings (where required)
* Liaise with engineer (if hired on project) to sign and certify drawings
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience as a Draftsman/Detailer, preferably within an metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
* Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Draftsman/Detailer is required for this position
* Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
* Strong technical understanding of engineering principles and the ability to interpret complex designs
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
