About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Weekend team in Acute Inpatient Orthopaedics and Emergency Department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating orthopaedic, plastics, and emergency secondary contact patients during weekends and public holidays.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to contribute to our multidisciplinary team, focusing on providing high-quality patient care and promoting excellent outcomes.
The role involves 4-6 hour shifts every 6 weeks, primarily on weekends and public holidays. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, prioritizing clinical excellence, research, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage clinical care for orthopaedic, plastics, and emergency secondary contact patients
* Assess, plan, and treat orthopaedic inpatients, including patient education
* Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care
* Provide advice on patient care in outlying wards as needed
Requirements
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* Current registration with AHPRA
* Postgraduate qualifications (completed or in progress)
* Extensive experience in managing soft tissue injuries, spinal, and joint injuries
* Strong clinical reasoning and knowledge
