Remuneration: $116,639.98 - $120,469.88 per annum, pro rata (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)
Location: Site Negotiable within 1.5 hour travel distance of Tumut/Batlow/Brungle Region will be considered

Make a real difference in young lives! We're seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to coordinate health and wellbeing support for school-age children and young people.
About the Role
The WHIN Coordinator CNS2 is a Registered Nurse who works in identified local schools, face to face or with virtual care and applies their specialist clinical nursing knowledge, experience and skill in providing complex nursing care for school aged children and young people in these schools.
About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Post-graduate qualifications relevant to the specialty, and at least 3 years full-time equivalent clinical experience in the specialty of the specified post-graduate qualification.
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with demonstrated ability to meet practice standards, codes, guidelines and frameworks commensurate with the position.
* Demonstrated effective communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and information technology skills to provide complex specialty services and influence innovative nursing/midwifery practice.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.
* Class C License and live within 1.5 hour of the Tumut/Batlow/Brungle Region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate identification and response to health, wellbeing and social needs of students
* Provide expert clinical assessment, consultation and educational support
* Coordinate services and case management for vulnerable children, young people and families
* Build strong collaborative networks between health services and schools
* Deliver holistic, early intervention and prevention-focused care
* Provide clinical leadership and act as a professional role model
* Promote best practice care within a multidisciplinary team environment
