Primary Prevention Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Primary Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a Primary Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and evaluating primary prevention initiatives that support better health and wellbeing outcomes for the young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement evidence-based programs that promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver effective prevention strategies
* Build health literacy and create a safe, supportive environment that encourages positive behavior change
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support primary prevention initiatives
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in health promotion or a related field
* Proven experience in health promotion and primary prevention
* Strong understanding of contemporary health promotion approaches and theories
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
