Our Services
* Seamlessly transitioning from hospital to home-based care
* Offering planned short-term day or overnight respite
* Expert care for children with complex health needs while they're at school
* Assisting with daily living in alignment with children and young people's NDIS Plan
* Crafting play plans that aid in children and young people's development
* Extending emergency or crisis support in times of heightened necessity
* Delivering palliative care and end-of-life respite
Job Responsibilities
Support responsibilities include:
* PEJ/PEG feeding support
* High flow oxygen administration
* Personal Care
* Experience working with babies and toddlers, or lived experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of their needs
* Understands the rights of people with disabilities, and a commitment to inclusion, person-centred support, and enhancing quality of life
* Professional confidence and initiative including:
o High level of confidence and interpersonal skills
o Proactive approach to clinical care and social engagement
o Ability to take initiative in both routine and complex situations
* Strong understanding of professional boundaries
* Ability to maintain these boundaries consistently in all interactions
Meaningful Interactions:
* Adapt to unique needs: No two children are the same – your role involves tuning in to what works best for our client.
* Age-appropriate engagement: You'll tailor communication, activities, and emotional support to meet the developmental stage of our client.
* Interaction as a bridge: Use your interactions to foster trust, encourage expression, and support learning – this could include sensory activities, outdoor games, creative arts, or quiet play.
* Support emotional wellbeing: Through gentle interaction and responsiveness, you'll help our client navigate their feelings and build confidence.
* Promote independence: Empower our client to do things on their own, using guided choices and encouragement based on their ability and interests.
