About the role:
This role supports the Corporate Planning & Strategy Manager and Head of Human Resources (collectively "Managers") in implementing the bank's change management and transformation strategy across Oceania. This role will support the successful adoption of business changes by assisting the Managers with stakeholder engagement, bank-wide change initiatives, and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement new ways of working (i.e., supporting the roll out of new systems, processes and people strategies).
This AVP, Strategic Change Manager will report into the Vice President, Corporate Planning & Strategy Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Human Resources.
What you'll be doing:
Change & Transformation Project Initiatives
* Support the development of the branch's change management strategy and new ways of working.
* Assist in delivery of bank-wide transformation and offshoring projects and initiatives.
* Leverage data analytics to gather scope, assess performance, measure impact of change initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement and enhancement.
* Propose and proactively provide senior leadership with change materials such as leader toolkits, employee FAQ, intranet content and presentation decks.
* Identify and escalate risks, resistance or misalignment and recommend effective solutions.
Employee Engagement
* Develop mechanisms for employee feedback, recognition and involvement (surveys, focus groups, digital tools, etc.)
* Lead end-to-end coordination of employee engagement programs including identifying and sourcing opportunities through to execution and post-event evaluation.
* Lead proactive execution of bank-wide action plans and business unit action plans. Prepare materials to disseminate key program updates and outcomes.
* Monitor culture and employee engagement trends using survey data, pulse feedback, and other metrics to identify areas of opportunity. Interpret results and create presentations to report on engagement trends for HR initiatives and programs.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track and report on change strategy outcomes, including the adoption, readiness and alignment with the Medium-Term Business Plan and strategic objectives.
* Produce comprehensive quarterly and annual reports on change management initiatives, engagement and culture within the bank.
* Regulatory / Audit - Assist in the coordination of any audits and regulatory examinations related to change management initiatives/projects, as needed.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will have 4+ years' experience in a similar or related role, preferably supporting or leading a change management workstream.
Along with project and change management experience, you'll also be able to analyse data to measure progress and impact (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Glint, Tableau, SharePoint, and other analytic tools). An understanding of HR processes and systems is highly desirable.
You'll have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, together with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
You'll likely have a college diploma / tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
