As a personal confidential assistant to Commissioner Tsang of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders and contribute to the fair and efficient resolution of industrial disputes.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange hearings, conferences, and itineraries with precision and attention to detail.
* Liaise with individual parties, employer and employee organisations, and representatives to proceedings before the Commission.
* Undertake research as directed, oversee case management, and assist the Commissioner in hearings.
* Draft documents as required and manage the Commissioner's Chambers with efficiency and discretion.
Requirements
* A genuine passion for industrial relations and dispute resolution.
* A knowledge of Court procedure and process, as well as the procedures and functions of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
* An ability to organise work effectively and efficiently.
* High-level written and communication skills.
* An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
* High-level interpersonal skills, including a capacity to deal with a diverse range of people.
* The ability to perform administrative tasks effectively, including managing case files.
* Proven computer literacy, especially in word processing, data retrieval, and work tracking systems.
* Experience in undertaking research in legal principles and industrial matters and a capacity to identify and use appropriate sources of information.
* The ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
