Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wangaratta, VIC, for a Children's Services Centre 2IC (Second in Charge). The role involves assisting with daily operations, ensuring the quality delivery of services, supporting staff, and maintaining a nurturing and safe environment for children. The 2IC will support in implementing programs, managing compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Collaboration with the Centre Manager to identify improvement opportunities and provide exceptional customer service is a crucial part of the role.
Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with families, children, and colleagues.
Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure a supportive and professional experience for families and children.
Technical Support capabilities to assist with administrative tools and compliance-related processes in a childcare environment.
Knowledge of early childhood care regulations and best practices.
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field, along with First Aid and Working with Children certifications.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
