About the Program: The South COAST Bridging contract supports the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation's IT systems in the sustainment of its mission systems and infrastructure to ensure AGO delivers its government and Defence objectives.
Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking Software Engineers and Developers across multiple levels of experience to design, develop and enhance enterprise applications and systems within an Agile DevSecOps environment.
Key responsibilities include: Research, design, code, test and document software solutions.
Integrate systems and ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
Improve and maintain existing applications and frameworks.
Apply DevSecOps and Agile practices for secure, efficient delivery.
Contribute to or lead technical decisions, architecture, and process improvements.
Mentor others and support knowledge sharing within the team.
This position is offered as a fixed-term contract until 31 July ****, with scope for extension.
About you: You are an experienced software professional with strong technical capability, problem-solving skills and a focus on quality delivery.
Essential attributes: Qualifications or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, React and HTML.
Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.
Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices.
Familiarity with technologies such as GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Atlassian Suite.
