About Us
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated support worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will help improve the daily lives of our participants by supporting their independence, goals, and wellbeing through everyday tasks and meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Assist with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
* Support community participation such as attending appointments, shopping, or social outings
* Encourage independence, dignity, and active living
* Observe, document, and report on client progress and wellbeing
* Assist clients in group activities and social interaction
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* A valid driver's licence
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to client wellbeing
* A genuine desire to make a positive impact
* A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is welcome but not essential
