We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our small, collaborative engineering team. This role is ideal for an early‐career engineer or graduate developer who wants hands‐on experience building real software while learning from experienced engineers.
You'll contribute to systems used in real‐world environments, including connected devices and IoT‐enabled technologies, while developing the skills, autonomy, and technical depth to take your engineering career to the next level.

What You'll Work On
* Developing software used in global fire and security systems
* Supporting IoT‐connected devices and smart systems
* Building reliable software used in real‐world environments
* Contributing to improvements and new features across existing systems
* Working closely with experienced engineers to solve technical challenges
Key Responsibilities
* Develop software as part of a small engineering team
* Write clean, maintainable object‐oriented code
* Work primarily with C#, with exposure to C++ and C
* Use Git to manage source code and collaborate with the team
* Contribute to technical problem‐solving and debugging
* Assist with new features and improvements to existing systems
* Collaborate with engineers and cross‐functional teams
* Continue developing your skills across a broader technical environment
About You
* Early‐career software engineer or graduate developer
* Strong interest in software development and problem solving
* Understanding of object‐oriented programming
* Experience with C#, C++ or another object‐oriented language
* Familiar with Git or version control systems
* Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn
* Able to work independently while collaborating with the team
Nice To Have (Not Essential)
* Embedded Linux or Yocto
* Networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, UDP)
* SQL or relational databases
* Microsoft Azure / cloud infrastructure
* Windows administration
* Hardware debugging
* Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, or reading hardware schematics
