Our client is a long-standing, internationally renowned producer of naval systems and equipment, including aircraft elevators, arrester gear and helicopter handling for surface ships, periscope-raising equipment and hydroplane/rudder drives for submarines. **Your new role**
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be fabricating and fitting parts for hydraulic systems, and ensuring existing systems are operating efficiently. As our client works with defence, this role is perfect for someone who presents and works tidily and with pride, who has great communication, a good sense of energy and friendliness, and a outstanding work ethic. You’ll be working for a company who provides for international defence, so you’ve got total job security - our client isn’t going anywhere!
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Mechanical Fitter Trade
- Extensive work history in hydraulic fitting or defence
- Pass a full medical, drug and alcohol assessment
- Need to have full Australian Work Rights
