As an Automation Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product. You will contribute by developing automated tests, executing manual and automated testing, enhancing frameworks, and driving continuous improvement in QA practices across the team.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).
What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain automated test cases across backend APIs and frontend UI
* Enhance and contribute to existing Pythonbased BDD automation frameworks (e.g., Behave)
* Run and maintain automated regression suites
* Support CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance for daily automated regression
* Test pricing rules, premiums, and configuration changes across various scenarios
What You'll Bring
* Handson experience with backend API testing tools (Postman, Bruno)
* Solid automation experience across UI and API layers
* Experience working with Pythonbased frameworks (preferably Behave)
* Understanding of web technologies (APIs, UI concepts, XML, JSON)
* Experience in agile ways of working
* Ability to utilise AI tools to enhance testing efficiency
* Strong experience writing and executing manual test cases
* Proficiency with Jira, Xray, and Confluence
