Job Title: Maintenance Fitter –FMCG

Roster: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + super
Accomodation: You will have FREE accomodation provided when you are working the 7 days on shift only then after the shift, you will go back to wherever you live
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing facility in regional Victoria. This role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, providing an excellent work-life balance while working within a modern production environment.
During your 7-day shift block, accommodation will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates based in Melbourne or other locations who are open to working regionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
* Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiency
* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety and OH&S standards
About You
* Trade qualified Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter
* Strong troubleshooting and fault finding skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team
* Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
