Tasks & responsibilities
* Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries, prescription drop-offs, and pick-ups. Address customer concerns and provide information on products
* Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments from customers. Maintain cash register balances
* Patient Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy by following Privacy Act
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and provide seamless service to customers.
* Adaptability: Be adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the pharmacy's operations.
* Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues and concerns professionally and efficiently. Seek guidance from pharmacists when handling complex inquiries or situations.
* Product Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the front shop's inventory, including the features and benefits of various products. Provide recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
* Promotions and Sales: Promote sales and special offers on selected products. Assist in setting up displays and signage to highlight featured items.
* Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive front shop area. Ensure that aisles and product displays are free from clutter.
