With such an exciting expansion phase, we’re on the hunt for a passionate, experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our EJ family. Location: Coniston, New South Wales, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Store Manager on daily store operations.
- Bring a positive, welcoming vibe to the role.
- Ensure our customers experience a consistent EJ experience and food quality.
- Drive and motivate the team to perform at their best.
- Assist the Store Manager to strive to exceed KPIs and store profitability.
- Provide staff training and coaching for ongoing improvement and efficiency.
- Manage team rostering and financial targets within the business.
- Maintain food safety standards store-wide and keep customers confident in our standards.
- Maintain high store cleanliness and equipment hygiene to support efficient operations.
- Prioritize customer and staff safety and adhere to WHS guidelines.
- Manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
- Uphold the brand’s culture and vibe in-store.
Qualifications
- Completed (or willing to undertake) a Food Safety Supervisor course.
- Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
- Passion for good, soulful food and the customer journey; up for a challenge.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent people management skills and ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.
- A friendly, approachable personality and strong leadership instincts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you’ll interact with customers daily.
- A proactive attitude to complete store tasks.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
