We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Mount Isa.

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist with Gidgee Healing, you will provide culturally appropriate, evidence-based assessment and intervention services to clients across the lifespan.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that supports independence, participation, and overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting clinical assessments and developing goal-oriented care plans.
* Delivering therapeutic interventions in clinic and outreach settings.
* Supporting clients with self-care, mobility, functional capacity, and environmental adaptations.
* Collaborating with clients, families, and other health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
* Promoting health education and community engagement initiatives.

About You
You are an empathetic, adaptable, and collaborative clinician who is committed to making a positive difference in community health.
Essential Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to outreach sites.
Desirable:
* Experience working in rural or remote health settings.
* Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and cultural perspectives.
* Experience with NDIS or community health models.
