Job Description
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Strategy, People & Communication, this pivotal role will lead a multi-disciplinary team across HR, WHS, payroll, and organisational development. You will drive strategic workforce transformation, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with the Mission, Vision, and strategic priorities of DLCS.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high performing People and Culture team.
Drive strategic HR initiatives including performance, learning, and talent development.
Oversee WHS systems and foster a proactive safety culture.
Provide expert advice to the Board, Director of Catholic Schools, and Executive Leadership.
Champion organisational change and workforce capability development.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you will be a seasoned executive with:
10+ years in senior People and Culture leadership roles.
Proven success in leading change within complex organisations.
Expertise in HR strategy, WHS, industrial relations, and payroll.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
A commitment to the values and Mission of Catholic education.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, IR, Business or related field (postgraduate preferred).
Valid Working with Children Check and a cleared National Police Check.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
