About the roleNNSWLHD is seeking General Practitioners with additional recognised qualification and appropriate training in Forensic examination of suspected sexual assault (Paediatric, Adolescent and Adult) to provide a timely response to clients/ patients requiring an immediate medical and/or forensic intervention following the disclosure of sexual assault. Applicants with a willingness to undertake relevant training approved by the Local Health District are also welcome to apply.
Work as part of a 24/7 on call roster being able to respond within a two (2) hour time frame and providing responses to designated NNSWLHD Hospitals to provide comprehensive services for optimal client/patient outcomes.

* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways, and/or eligible for General registration with the Medical Board of Australia and have appropriate skills and training assessed by the Local Health District to provide specialist General Practice services
* Hold a recognised qualification and appropriate training in forensic examination of suspected sexual assault (Adolescent, Adult and/or Paediatric) or willingness to undertake relevant training course as approved by the LHD
* Demonstrated experience and recency of clinical practice of a high standard in relevant clinical areas such as forensic examination of sexual assault in adolescents, adults and/or paediatrics, sexual health, women's health, mental health and emergency medicine
* Demonstrated high level and effective interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Willingness to work on-call with the ability to respond to Sexual Assault presentations within two (2) hours of request
* Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
