Financial Accountant (Temporary) – Immediate Start
An opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well-established and growing North Queensland organisation on a temporary basis, with potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
This respected business operates across a number of international projects and continues to expand its operations both locally and overseas, creating an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving organisation.
This role would suit someone who is comfortable working at both ends of the finance function. You will be responsible for higher-level tasks such as BAS preparation and month-end reporting, while also assisting with reconciliations and day-to-day finance tasks when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of BAS and month-end reporting
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting financial reporting and general ledger management
* Assisting with transactional finance tasks and data entry where required
About You:
* Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
* Comfortable working in a hands-on finance environment
* Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
* Ability to support both strategic and transactional accounting functions
* CPA/CA desirable but not essential
