Highly successful and fast-growing Australian company Cohesive and energetic leadership team with strong determination to succeed Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a new Chief Information Officer (CIO) to support the next phase of this company's significant growth agenda.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful individual will be based at the company's headquarters in Melbourne's Northern suburbs.
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on CIO to lead their technology strategy and operations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in supply chain management, distribution, and sales-driven businesses, along with a strong command of enterprise systems and cloud technologies.
This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering strategic partnerships across the organization.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CIO will play a key role in shaping the company's future through technology innovation, governance, and strategic execution.

The role Responsibilities: Develop and deliver IT strategies aligned with business goals, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.
Lead the deployment and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Fin Ops) and Customer Engagement (CE) platforms.
Oversee Azure cloud architecture and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with Essential Eight Level 2 standards.
Drive digital transformation initiatives, including e Commerce, data analytics, and automation, to enhance customer experience and business performance.
Safeguard business-critical systems with high availability, robust disaster recovery (DRP), and business continuity planning (BCP).
Build and inspire high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology opportunities that deliver strategic value and operational efficiency.
Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships to support long-term technology goals.
Ensure cohesive enterprise architecture and system integration across the organisation.
You will be a highly experienced technology executive with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology and/or Business Administration, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, including 5 years in a CIO or equivalent role.
Please note that we would consider someone who has been in a 2 IC capacity and is ready for the next step into the CIO role.
You will bring proven expertise in leading diverse IT teams and managing complex vendor relationships, with a strong track record in supply chain, distribution, and sales-driven environments.
With hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement, alongside a strong understanding of Dev Ops practices, you will be adept at driving digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes.
In addition to your technical skills, you will be commercially astute, with deep knowledge of Azure cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
A strong grasp of e Commerce strategy and delivery, coupled with experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, and AI, will enable you to create innovative, customer-focused solutions.
Your proven ability in cybersecurity governance, project management methodologies, and vendor negotiation will ensure robust, secure, and scalable IT operations.
