The opportunity:
Our Finance team are currently seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to join the team based in our Rhodes 2138 office. Reporting to the General Manager – Taxation, Treasury and Risk, the Senior Treasury Manager will be responsible for securing corporate and project funding for our Australian operations, in addition to managing liquidity and cost of debt, treasury operations, and treasury accounting and reporting for the group.
The role works closely with Frasers Property Limited (FPL) head office in Singapore to provide insights and analysis to drive informed decision making.
Responsibilities
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
* Lead and coach a small team in Treasury
* Provide strategic thought leadership to the broader Finance team
* Collaborate with FPL on corporate debt facilities and project financing, and organise Treasury Roadshows
* Lead treasury budgeting and forecasts, and present reports to the Executive Management Team
* Manage liquidity and cash pool including cashflow forecasting
* Assess bank guarantees and bonding facilities
* Administer loan facilities, oversee bank accounts, and monthly reconciliations
* Provide insightful reporting, commentary, and recommendations to drive decision making
* Support preparation of Board and Finance Committee reports to local and Singapore stakeholders
* Oversee financial internal controls, policies and processes
* Undertake and implement continuous improvement initiatives in the Treasury and Finance teams
Requirements
You may have all or some of the following skills & experience:
* Qualifications in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting
* CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
* Experience and knowledge in debt funding products and derivatives
* Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting, tax, and legal issues in corporate treasury
* Experience and commercial acumen developed in the property industry or property/financial services is desirable
* Advanced MS Office including Excel
* SAP Software/Business Object reporting skills and Treasury software (eg Reval) are desirable
