Senior Medical Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced medical professional to join our hospital's executive team as a Director of Medical Services.
This key role will involve overseeing clinical governance, medical workforce management, operational excellence, research and medical education to promote safe, evidence-based practice.
* Provide expert leadership in delivering high-quality patient care and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Drive innovation in healthcare delivery models, clinical pathways and service improvements
* Develop and implement robust medical governance processes, including credentialing and performance monitoring
* Lead the recruitment, management, education and training of junior doctors
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including service providers, educational institutions and healthcare agencies
* Cultivate a culture of professionalism, respect, collaboration and innovation within the hospital
Key Requirements:
* AHPRA registration and membership with a relevant professional college
* Significant experience in senior medical leadership and management roles
* Demonstrated ability to drive strategic outcomes and lead clinical governance initiatives
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in negotiation and consensus-building
* Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, balancing hospital and clinical requirements
