Job Description
As a Product Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting the adoption of specified products to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Meet and overachieve on sales targets by developing call plans relevant to overall strategy.
* Maintain and utilize CRM database (Salesforce) to maintain contacts and develop business plans for forecasting.
* Develop a coherent territory plan that includes a strategy for achieving sales targets, protecting existing business, and identifying key accounts and customers.
Key responsibilities also include working with the Business Unit Manager to achieve strategic objectives, including conversion of major accounts and growth in existing accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications preferred, ideally in a related field.
* 3 to 5 years of proven experience and success within medical device sales or another healthcare sales-related role.
* Demonstrated experience in developing close customer relationships and providing high levels of customer service support.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to learn and communicate clinical and technical information.
* Ability to analyze sales reports and spreadsheets to identify trends and changes.
* Demonstrated competence in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additionally, you should possess effective selling and rapport-building skills, as well as be organized, punctual, and professional.
