The role focuses on leveraging generative AI to enhance digital experiences, platform intelligence, and user engagement. This individual will be responsible for aligning AI strategy with business objectives, data governance, and compliance requirements.This will suit an experienced Data/Solutions Architect who is happy to work on all things strategy and design, and hand over the project to be implemented and delivered by another team.Key Responsibilities for the AI Architect include :Develop and maintain an enterprise AI reference architecture and long-term AI roadmaps aligned with organisational goals and enterprise architecture standards.Design secure, scalable, and ethically responsible AI solutions using state-of-the-art frameworks and platforms.Translate business requirements into technical designs for AI systems and applications.Drive strategies for secure, efficient data acquisition and flow to support AI models, Data Hubs, and Customer Data Platforms.Lead the development lifecycle of AI solutions, including design, testing, and deployment, in accordance with industry best practices.Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation covering architecture and design decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing digital products and services.Evaluate and implement generative AI technologies to enhance product capabilities and innovation.Provide thought leadership and mentorship across AI, data science, and engineering teams.Monitor emerging AI trends and identify relevant opportunities for strategic advantage.Required experience for the AI Architect role includes :AI Architecture Expertise: Proven track record in designing and deploying AI applications and scalable architectures, with experience using platforms such as AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex, and related orchestration tools.Data and Platform Depth: Strong understanding of data architecture, including secure, governed data flows within Customer Data Platforms and Data Hubs.Operational AI Acumen: Hands-on experience with MLOps and LLMOps processes, enabling efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of AI/ML solutions.Technical Mastery: Proficient in modern machine learning and deep learning techniques, including large language models and generative AI.
